Floor Sealing and Floor Finishing

Place “Wet Floor” signs.

Verify that the floor
is dry, clean, and that all old finish has been removed.

Place a black garbage bag inside a clean mop bucket and fill with Avmor sealer or finish.

Saturate the mop head and then wring out until you have the desired amount of finish on your finish mop.

Edge a 10FT x 10FT (3.048 m x 3.048m) section. Apply Avmor sealer or finish using the figure 8 mopping method.

Complete the entire floor area. Allow to dry between each coat. After 10 minutes turn on floor fans. Angle floor fans upward.

Tips & Tricks

Apply Avmor sealer before Avmor floor finish when it is needed.
Only apply 1st coat of sealer and last coat of finish to the edges due to far less traffic.
Always allow 10 minutes drying time per coat before using a floor fan.
Do not pour unused finish back into container.
Always use the special finish mop, a cotton/rayon blended mop or a microfiber mop.
Always make sure the wringer is very clean.
When you are finished sealing, discard the plastic garbage bag and install a new one.
Be sure to thoroughly rinse mop clean.
Longer drying time could be due to high air humidity. Do not apply sealer or finish without the proper method.
If mop begins to drag turn the mop over to the opposite side and repeat.
Always use clean equipment, mops & pads.
